About Rosie

Kia ora, I’m Rosie — a registered counsellor and yoga teacher based in Ōtautahi Christchurch, NZ.

I started Planted with the belief that therapy is like planting seeds: with the right care, time, and conditions, new ways of being can grow. I offer a calm, compassionate space for people to slow down, breathe and reconnect with themselves.

My areas of specialisation include body image, disordered eating, ED recovery, anxiety and burnout, and I have experience in a broad range of settings, including schools, community mental health, EAP, and residential ED recovery.

With over a decade of experience supporting people through yoga, I bring a trauma-informed, whole-person approach to counselling. My interest in the nervous system and mind-body connection shapes both my therapeutic approach and my yoga teaching. It’s also a big part of how I care for myself, so that I am able to care for you.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me with a cuppa and a book, walking my dog on the beach, or spending time with family, friends and my yoga practice.
